Lynn Lyons, LICSW will present “Preventing Anxiety and Depression: Skills We Can and Should Be Teaching Our Children.”

Lynn Lyons, LICSW, is a licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist who lives in Concord, New Hampshire and is in private practice there. For 26 years, Lynn has specialized in the treatment of anxiety disorders in adults and children. With a special interest in breaking the generational cycle of worry in families, she is the coauthor of two books on anxiety, “Anxious Kids, Anxious Parents: 7 Ways to Stop the Worry Cycle and Raise Courageous & Independent Children,” and the companion book for kids, “Playing with Anxiety: Casey’s Guide for Teens and Kids.”

The Bangor Regional Program welcomes Christina Babin as Director! Ms. Babin has taught special education and regular education during her teaching years prior to becoming an administrator in education. She has a passion for including all students and works diligently so that all students succeed. Most recently, Christy has worked as the Assistant Director of Pupil Services for the Bangor School Department. Her experience within the classroom, as an administrator of special education, and her commitment to work with a team are great assets to the Regional Program.  Ms. Babin is excited to join the team at the Regional Program and is looking forward to her new position as a building administrator.
